Jahn und Jahn is pleased to present Sebastian Dacey's third solo show at the gallery, showing works on paper, a selection of large wall paintings, and a wood installation. The colored and abstract paintings have been made in the last four months in Marseille.
Sebastian Dacey lives and works in different places, among others in Berlin, Munich, Marseille, Portugal, and in Alsace. Born in 1982 in London, he studied from 2003 in Nikolaus Lang's class at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. He then moved into Günter Förg's class, completing his diploma as master student in 2008. During his studies, Sebastian Dacey also worked with the Wimbledon College of Art in London. He received the Villa Romana Prize in 2010 and the Bavarian Art Prize (Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis) in 2018.
